The project office was created as part of the implementation of the project for the construction of a new medical building of NROC LLP in Astana.  The Project Office consists of the following structural divisions:

• Department of engineering support of construction.
• Department of Radiation Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Implementation.
• Department of organization of equipment with medical, laboratory, analytical and technological equipment.
• Department for the creation of a research unit.
• Department of digitalization and implementation of information technologies.

Areas of activity:

• Development of sketches and design estimates for construction, reconstruction, major repairs of buildings and structures;
• Participation in the preparation of technical design assignments;
• Support of obtaining construction permits;
• Participation in the development of design and estimate documentation for the construction of the NROC regarding the equipment, equipment for the centers of nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, brachytherapy, proton therapy, interventional X-ray surgery, as well as the simulation center; equipment of immobilizing agents and devices for radiation therapy, systems for dosimetric planning of remote and contact radiation therapy;
• Participation in the development and coordination of the radiation control system configuration;
• Implementation of advanced medical technologies, modern hospital management, international quality and safety standards within the framework of Joint Commission International (JCI) international accreditation.
• Development and implementation of the NROC innovation strategy;
• Development of the innovation infrastructure of the NROC;
• Creation of a database of innovative developments;
• Study and implementation of international standards for proton therapy, radionuclide diagnostics, radiation therapy, production of radiopharmaceuticals (hereinafter referred to as RFP) in the cyclotron production complex;
• Development of projects for the development of medical information systems, action plans for the implementation and development of information systems of the Center;
• Preparation of proposals to ensure compliance of projects for the development of medical information systems with the strategic documents of the Center and the Concept of e-health of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of national and international standards (JCI) in the activities of the Center.
