The sector of civil defense, emergency situations, fire and radiation safety is a structural subdivision of the Center.

In its activities, it is guided by the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter of the Center, decisions of the management bodies of the Center, and other internal documents of the Center.

Tasks and functions of the department:

• Organization and timely provision of safe working conditions for the Center's employees to perform high–tech medical services and specialized medical care for patients according to the profile, taking into account the requirements of the current regulatory, organizational, legal, administrative and governing documents;
• Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of national and international standards (GPP, JCI) in the activities of the Center;
• Identification and prevention of risk factors and the consequences of their implementation in the Center;
• Risk minimization, implementation of risk prevention;
• Conducting an ongoing internal audit of the state of fire safety, as well as occupational safety and health;
• Preparation and implementation of emergency response measures;
• Creation and maintenance of engineering formations, their equipment with equipment, property and equipment.
