The conference was organized by the Scientific Society of Gastroenterologists of Turkey, reports were devoted to modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer and polyps of the gastrointestinal tract. Participants 650 people joined from Turkey, Egypt, Japan, USA, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, 46 speakers from 7 countries. There was a separate session for the speakers of the Turkic states.
Each speaker participated in the conference through an avatar specially created in the Metaverse in the likeness of the speaker, and participation was virtual, like in a computer game, when the real image of the lecturer is not visible.
On March 16, a meeting of the Journal Club was held with the participation of representatives of the Nursing Service of the National Cancer Research Center.
The club is a group of nurses with common interests who meet on a regular basis to read, discuss and evaluate academic and scientific articles published in the medical literature.
