The conference was organized by the Scientific Society of Gastroenterologists of Turkey, reports were devoted to modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer and polyps of the gastrointestinal tract. Participants 650 people joined from Turkey, Egypt, Japan, USA, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, 46 speakers from 7 countries. There was a separate session for the speakers of the Turkic states.

Each speaker participated in the conference through an avatar specially created in the Metaverse in the likeness of the speaker, and participation was virtual, like in a computer game, when the real image of the lecturer is not visible.

The reports were in Turkish or English. Our speaker, Batyrbekov Kanat Umirzakovich, head of the Center for Expert Endoscopy, in his report, he highlighted the problems and successes of the national colorectal cancer screening program in Kazakhstan, namely the endoscopic stage of screening.

According to Kanat Umirzakovich, "further cooperation with Turkish colleagues involves holding joint field conferences and master classes, and there is also a preliminary agreement on organizing an internship in endoscopic diagnostic and treatment methods for endoscopists of Kazakhstan in leading Turkish clinics."
