Able to formulate a clinical diagnosis, prescribe a treatment plan and evaluate its effectiveness based on evidence-based practice at all levels of care

List of perks of resident doctor (a list of manipulations to which the resident doctor has access for self-fulfilment, or under the supervision of a doctor. The list of privileges is updated annually or if necessary more often according to the acquired skills of the resident doctor during the training).

Safety and quality

is able to assess risks and use best practices to ensure a high level of safety and quality of care.

As required by DIS, when errors are made by residents, incidents are identified and addressed in the resident working sessions

Public healthcare

is able to act within the framework of the legal and organizational field of the health system of the Republic of Kazakhstan in its specialty, provide basic assistance in emergency situations, work as part of interprofessional teams for the implementation of the policy of strengthening the health of the nation.

Research

able to formulate adequate research questions, critically evaluate professional literature, effectively use international databases in their daily activities, participate in the work of the research team.

In order to familiarize resident doctors with the advanced scientific literature in the field of medicine in order to improve the diagnostic and therapeutic organizational processes in the centres, NROC attracts residents in scientific projects and articles

Training and development

Can train independently and train other members of the professional team, actively participate in discussions, conferences and other forms of continuous professional development.
