In 2019, the National research oncology center successfully passed the accreditation for compliance with the standards of institutional accreditation of postgraduate and additional education (continuous professional development).

Educational services of the NROC at the level of continuing professional education are represented by a wide range of events, both on the basis of the Center, and with visits to other organizations: in-services training and retraining cycles, master classes, seminars, internships at the workplace, and trainings.

Classes can be conducted in person (both in a group and individually), as well as using information and computer technologies.

Training is provided for various types of highly specialized medical care for surgical, obstetric, gynecological, oncological and therapeutic profiles.

Training is provided for various types of highly specialized medical care for surgical, obstetric, gynecological, oncological and therapeutic profiles.

Lecturers are highly qualified specialists, doctors and candidates of medical sciences, doctors of the highest category with experience in work and teaching, trained in the best centers and clinics in the world.

The implementation of programs at the level of continuing professional education in the NROC is carried out in accordance with the order of the acting of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 11, 2009 No. 691 “On the Approval of the Rules for Advanced Training and Retraining of Medical and Pharmaceutical Personnel, as well as Qualification Requirements for Organizations Implementing Additional Medical and Pharmaceutical Education Programs”.

Retraining cycles in the NROC are conducted in more than 10 specialties, including: Cardiology, General Surgery, Angiosurgery (X-ray surgery, interventional surgery) (adult, pediatric), Hematology (adult), Radiation diagnostics, Oncology (chemotherapy, mammology) (adult) , Urology and Andrology, Anesthesiology and Reanimatology (adult), Plastic Surgery, Functional Diagnostics, etc. Programs of RT cycles are aimed at gaining the competence necessary to perform a new type of professional activity, acquired tenia new specialty. The duration of training on RT cycles for people with higher professional education, depending on the specialty, is from 432 to 1080 hours (2 to 5 months), for people with secondary professional education - 432 hours (2 months).

Further training courses are held on more than 30 different topics of surgical, obstetric, gynecological, oncological, and therapeutic profiles. Programs of retraining cycles provide for the improvement and (or) the acquisition of a new competency necessary for professional activities, and (or) professional development within the existing specialty. The duration of retraining cycles for people with higher professional education is from 54 to 216 hours (from 1 to 4 weeks), for people with secondary professional education - from 54 to 108 hours (1-2 weeks).

  1. Students enrolled in the cycle are required to draw up documents before the start of classes.
  2. A note in the travel certificate of arrival at the NROC LLP for training is made in accordance with the actual time of appearance at the place of study.
  3. The mark of retirement from the NROC LLP may be dated no later than the next day after the end of the cycle.

List of required documents

  1. Copy of identity card;
  2. Copy of diploma + internship (if available);
  3. A copy of the document evidencing the change of surname (when changing the surname);
  4. Copy of a specialist certificate;
  5. Sanitary book (original).
