A new technology of endoscopic treatment of esophageal diverticula has been successfully introduced at the National Scientific Oncological Center. The positive experience of the doctors of our center makes it possible to transfer this technology for the treatment of Zenker's diverticulum to all regional surgical hospitals in Kazakhstan.

On December 15, on the eve of Independence Day, the National Scientific Cancer Center hosted a solemn presentation of state awards and letters of gratitude to doctors and employees of the Center, who distinguished themselves with particular successes in the development of the oncological service and the health care system as a whole.

The Center for Oncohematology and BMT of the National Scientific Oncological Center is the only one in the Republic that performs allogeneic and haploidentical transplants for the adult population. Read more here.

Along with the training of clinical specialists, it is planned to train non-medical specialists necessary for the country: physicists, chemists, dosimetric technicians, radiation safety engineers, etc.

Both cancer patients and their relatives need psychological support.

In world practice, such complex operations are rarely carried out, only in specialized multidisciplinary clinics, such as the National Scientific Cancer Center in Nur-Sultan.

With timely diagnosis of this disease, in 95% of cases, patients are cured and continue to live a normal life.

The National Scientific Oncological Center passed the national accreditation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as a result of which the first category was awarded

On November 16, 2020, at the National Scientific Oncological Center, during a solemn ceremony, the head of the Center for Oncohematology and Oncohematological Reanimation, Chief Freelance Hematologist, Oncohematologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vadim Matveyevich Kemaykin awarded the medal "Khalyk alkysy" for his fruitful work in the health sector during a pandemic.
