A meeting between the National Research Oncology Center (NROC) and the Korean Institute for the Development of the Health Industry "KHIDI" was held at the NROC on the issues of cooperation and prospects for establishing partnerships in the development of the oncological service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From the KHIDI side, the meeting was attended by the Director of the KHIDI Representative Office Choi Zhong Hee and the researcher of the KHIDI Representative Office Song Soo Din.

Representatives of the NROC shared their plans to establish a National Research Oncology Center in the capital of Kazakhstan on the basis of the existing center, and also presented a project of a new medical and diagnostic building of the NROC.

In her speech, Gulnara Kulkaeva, Chairman of the Board of the NROC, noted the epidemiological situation of CVI and the importance of continuous training of specialists, the development and training of the personnel potential of the NROC.

During the meeting, the parties came to an agreement on cooperation in training medical personnel through both online platforms and other forms of educational activities, holding joint scientific and practical conferences, etc.
