On May 20-21, 2021, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Topical Issues of Regenerative Medicine: Cell Technologies, Tissue Engineering" was held in a distance format, organized by the Samara State Medical University (Russia).

The conference was also attended by leading hematologists, transfusiologists, transplantologists, neurologists, combustiologists, urologists, doctors of clinical laboratory diagnostics and foreign scientists from Russia, Israel, the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazakhstan.
On behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan at this conference, at the invitation of SamSMU, the head of the center of oncohematology and BMT of the National Scientific Oncological Center, chief freelance oncohematologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vadim Matveyevich Kemaykin spoke in the first section with a report “A clinical case of acute myeloid leukemia. Transplantation, GVHD complication and treatment ”.
He especially emphasized that the National Scientific Oncological Center occupies a leading position in its industry, being the leader in Kazakhstan in the field of introducing advanced medical technologies in such areas as hematology oncology. At our base, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation has been carried out since 2010. All types of transplantation have been mastered: autologous BMT in myeloma; allogeneic related TCM; autologous BMT in lymphoma; haploidentical BMT; allogeneic unrelated BMT. To provide centralized access to a single resource of donor registries for professionals in the field of application of the method of allogeneic bone marrow transplantation in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, a joint Russian-Kazakhstan information resource BMDS (bone marrow donor search) was created in 2011. Since 2013, reports have been submitted to the European Society for Bone Marrow Transplantation. Our Institute makes a significant contribution to the development of the oncological service in the Republic of Kazakhstan by developing human resources and introducing innovative methods into practical medicine by conducting training master classes (and online).
To date, in 2020, the Center's hemotological service has carried out 473 transplants, - haplo, - allo, - autotransplantation, the latter being performed at the NNOC for multiple myeloma and lymphomas. In just 10 years, 397 patients with acute myeloid leukemia were observed in the oncohemotology department, of which 187 women, 210 men.
In addition, Vadim Kemaykin's report presented new results of his own research - clinical cases; as well as modern views on transplantation, GVHD is a “graft versus host” reaction, a complication encountered after bone marrow transplantation and treatment.
About 30 reports were presented at the plenary session.
This conference allowed conference participants from different countries to discuss modern transplantation strategies and further predict the effectiveness and safety of cell technologies.
