A meeting with Korean colleagues from Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital on the launch of a pilot project on capsule endoscopy using artificial intelligence is being held on May 16-18 at the NROC.
Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital is the one of the largest universities and the first public university in the Republic of Korea. As part of the development of international cooperation with the world's leading oncology centers, an agreement on cooperation between the institute and the NROC was signed.
The project involves a limited number of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, as the number of capsules provided by Korea on a gratuitous basis is limited.
Project participants from Kazakhstan:
Center for Expert Endoscopy with Interventional Radiology, NROC Nur-Sultan c.;
Research Institute of Cardiology and Internal Medicine, Almaty c.
The endoscopic image obtained with the help of the capsule will be processed by a specially created program of artificial intelligence Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital.
The implementation of this project in our clinic will give impetus to the development of scientific, practical and friendly relations between our countries, clinics.
The Korean-installed artificial intelligence equipment and capsule for capsule endoscopy remain at the NROC.
