Morphological diagnostics is an integral part of diagnostics in oncology, which consists in the study of tumor tissues and cells at the cellular level.

The surgeon sees the tumor, but he cannot say whether it is malignant or benign. This is finally confirmed only by pathomorphologists, through a detailed analysis of the tissues and cells of the neoplasms.

Pathomorphologist Olga Andreeva spoke about how important accurate diagnosis is in the treatment of tumor pathologies and the role of morphological research.
