On February 5, 2021 at 14:00 at the National Recearch Oncological Center in Nur-Sultan, an online conference was organized and held on the topic: "Hepatopancreatobiliary surgery in oncology: the experience of the NSC".

The meeting was attended by experts from the regions: chief doctors of oncological institutions, deputy heads of oncological centers for medical work, surgeons, district and city oncologists.

The speaker was the head of the Center for Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Organ Transplantation Spataev Zhanat Seytbattalovich, who spoke about the work of the department, the results and experience of surgical treatment of liver and pancreas cancer, as well as liver transplants for malignant tumors.

During the discussion, problems related to the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer were discussed. As a result, it was decided to organize a separate platform, a round table for joint discussion and solution of this problem.

The participants thanked the speaker and organizers of the conference for the event held and the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the department of hepatopancreatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation, and also expressed their desire to hold such meetings on a more frequent basis to exchange experience and improve practical skills.
