On May 31, a French delegation with representatives of the Curie Institute (France) paid an official visit to the NSC.

The delegation was headed by Pierre Anhuri, Director for International Relations of the Curie Institute.
The Kazakhstani delegation was represented by the Chairperson of the Board of the National Scientific and Research Center, Gulnar Utepbergenovna Kulkaeva.
During the meeting, Pierre Anhuri made a short presentation on the clinical activities of the Curie Institute and the types of treatment used for cancer patients.
The parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of clinical research, training and research.
It was also noted that on the basis of the Curie Institute there is a good opportunity to exchange experience in the field of treating patients with tumor diseases of the eyes.
At the end of the meeting, the parties came to a common opinion on the need to intensify cooperation.
