He underwent advanced training in clinics in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Japan.

Under the leadership and with the direct participation of V.M. Kemeikin, a hematology department was opened at the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Aid JSC (now NNOTs LLP) and the first autologous, allogeneic, haploidentical bone marrow transplants were performed.
